Far from the sight of battle was a small village. This village was located in the north, and belonged to the Northern Empire. It was a village whose borders marked the borders of the Northern Empire and was popularly known as the ‘Edge of the World’ since there was no other human settlement after it. It was a peaceful village that hadn’t seen war in the longest time.The villagers were going about their duties as usual. *Cough*The great General of the True Goddess; the Goddess of Disharmony; it was she who showed some weakness. Supine on the ground she lay, her jaw dislocated with an arrow stuck in her chin. The pointed end of the arrow had pierced clean through, passing through one side of her cheek and appearing through the other. Her face should have felt hot due to the blood running down it, but there was a vast coolness that gnawed on her wound.
