A Strong Opponent

Aegeus and his many clones dived straight into action. Like Olympic athletes starved of competition they were eager to impress. Each of them held a replica of Aegis, and none of them was weak. The clones numbered 30 in all, much more than the total number of intruders left. So the prior situation was reversed in an instant. Now it was the intruders who were short on numbers!

*Boom*

A deafening sound rang out as an intruder was besieged by three Aegeus clones and clobbered to death. He had barely recovered from the surprise when the clones targeted him.

He wasn't the only one to face such an end. In less than a minute several Nobles were killed, and in a few more seconds even more joined the death list. Aegeus looked on nonchalantly; he didn't move a muscle. He left the dirty work to the clones. Soon there was only one person left.

The eyes of the last survivor were filled with tears as snot run down his nose. Aegeus looked on in disgust, offended that such a weak willed person was a
