New Year,No Old Fuss

“Hunter Blanco.” I shake his hand. I turn to face Selena. “Shall we take a drive?” Why won’t she look at me?

“Yes.” She gives just one nod. “Thank you for accompanying me here,” she tells the dancer.

“Just don't spoil anything.” I look at him and lead Selena to the car. What is that son of a bitch doing here?

I start the car and notice that Selena is tense beside me. I drive until I reach the outskirts of the city, where you can park your car to admire the jetty and the beach.

“Thanks for message,” I say when I turn off the car and she shifts uncomfortably, irritated, angry, confused.

“Glad you liked it.” She offers a nervous smile.

“Selena, I missed you so much I...” I put my hand on the side of her waist. Huh? I move my hand to the top of her stomach. “What is this?” I gasp when I feel the bulge. Am I actually dreaming or is this really happening?

“I-I was going to tell you...” she tries to speak.

“Tell me what?” I demand, trying not to snarl.

“Just don't scream.” She squints at me.
