Allison POV

"They are here." Announced a pack member as we all watched their cars drive in. 'They are home and nothing else matters.' I thought to myself as I watched their car pull over.

Sobs from some pack members could be heard as the corpse of the falling heroes were brought out. Their remains are proof of how ruthless those rogues were. Swallowing, I moved forward to open the car in which my husband and Alpha is in.

"Hey baby." I greeted him as I took him in. His left leg was wrapped up from above the knee down to his toes. I swallowed back my tears once more.

"Thank you for coming back to me." I mind linked him. I knew saying that out loud would have made some pack members frown at me. Some had lost families, lost friends, lost their mates, in this fight. The pack has lost some really good members so if they heard my selfish remark, they would definitely not be happy about it, not when they are in such pain.
