Seventy -nine

I woke up the next morning, feeling highly refreshed. Maybe it was because the bed and pillows were so soft and fluffy, or because I could relax a bit from danger, but it was the best sleep I’ve ever had in a long while.

I yawned and stretched, turning to look at Martha who was peacefully sleeping next to me. It made me smile. The way her nose scrunched up cutely when she slept, those little noises she made…it was so adorable.

I liked her like this. At peace.

When I first met her, she was always tensed up and stressed, always carrying such a heavy burden on her shoulders. Seeing her all relaxed and safe made me so glad.

Which brought me back to the thought that kept on pressing in my mind. The offer Andrew and Danny gave me.

I still couldn’t believe that they really want me to become the leader of Netharand. It didn’t make sense why, but they were so serious and persistent.
