Hayden-“What is next?” Devon asked Lexus after they bid the reporters goodbye.“Now we ruin the relationship between them.” Lexus said.Peeking between two leaves, I saw Lexus standing with his arms crossed over his chest and a smug smile on his face. He unwrapped his arms a moment later and pulled something out of his shirt pocket. It looked like a small plastic bag with white powder inside. After the deed is done, get evidence and find a way to show Hayden. After she learns that her lover has multiple lovers, she will likely move out of Dominic’s place. Once she no longer has Dominic’s protection, I can proceed with the next plan.”“Don’t worry, I will get this done.” Devon smiled as she put the powder in her pocket and clicked the elevator button.

Dominic-I felt like I was racing against the clock as I zoomed through traffic. Every few seconds, the alarm on my phone would blare through the car, alerting me that Hayden was pressing her panic button. I could have called Agent Leo to have him help me, but I had no intention of letting the FBI get there before me.When the first alert happened, I ordered Tristan to check the cameras around the bank to find out what happened. Dominic-After torturing Devon for three hours, she passed out. I had to admit it took longer for her to lose consciousness than it did for most grown men. If it weren’t for Hayden being out in the car, I would continue to make Devon regret it.“What now?” Tristan asked when he handed me a handkerchief to clean my hands.“Get rid of her and clean up the evidence.” I tossed the bloodied cloth on the ground and walked away.I hoped Hayden wasn’t upset with me for taking too long. Hayden-When I arrived at the law office the next day, I kept wondering if I had made the right decision. Dominic was with me but remained quiet, for which I was grateful.
