Chapter 68

Dominic-

After torturing Devon for three hours, she passed out. I had to admit it took longer for her to lose consciousness than it did for most grown men. If it weren’t for Hayden being out in the car, I would continue to make Devon regret it.

“What now?” Tristan asked when he handed me a handkerchief to clean my hands.

“Get rid of her and clean up the evidence.” I tossed the bloodied cloth on the ground and walked away.

I hoped Hayden wasn’t upset with me for taking too long. I would have had the others handle Devon for me, but I wanted to be the one to personally send her to hell. Seeing a sink on my way toward the stairs, I stopped at it to wash as much blood off me as I could.

I didn’t want to scare Hayden, as she had never seen this side of me. Very rarely did I let myself lose control as I had, but I would gladly make the world burn to keep Hayden safe. Once I finished cleaning myself up, I went out to the car.

Hayden was asleep in the passenger seat, holding a bag on her lap.
