Chapter 67

I felt like I was racing against the clock as I zoomed through traffic. Every few seconds, the alarm on my phone would blare through the car, alerting me that Hayden was pressing her panic button. I could have called Agent Leo to have him help me, but I had no intention of letting the FBI get there before me.

When the first alert happened, I ordered Tristan to check the cameras around the bank to find out what happened. Without waiting, I rushed out to follow the tracker. Tristan had called me a few minutes later and told me that Devon was with a few men who killed my men and took Hayden.

When she messed up the first time, I was lenient and sent her to Africa. When I kicked her out the second time, I should have dealt with her. It was partially my fault that Hayden was in danger because I allowed Devon to escape.
