Ronan’s POV

I didn’t have the slightest idea about what Timon was up to. But he seemed to have been able to find the bodies of the guards. The door opened abruptly and two dead bodies in the familiar guard uniform came into view Everyone gasped and covered their noses as they were pushed in. I felt pity and guilty at the same time.

If I knew these poor men would meet their end on such a small errand, I wouldn’t have let them go. The families they bid goodbye to would never get to see them again and that is my fault.

“What is the meaning of this?” Elder Callum asked.

Timon looked towards me for permission to speak. I gave him a nod to go ahead. He cleared his throat and stood up. “Since you all are hellbent on accusing the Alpha King of something he knows nothing about. I will take my time to explain things to you.” He stayed quiet and switched to mind-linking me. “Should I mention the things your aunt said?”
