Chapter 179

Fiona’s POV

I glanced discreetly at Ronan and smiled to myself. He looks much better than he was a month ago. When Lord Timon arrived with a carriage saying we were returning to the palace, I thought it was a joke. I had almost given up on the thought that we would ever get to return since Ronan never seemed to have an answer.

When we arrived there was a lot of acknowledgment from the very people who didn’t care to see me. I never knew Ronan’s uncle and didn’t think too highly of him after hearing about all that he did. What I didn’t expect was the situation of Freya. It was okay when she plotted to have me dead, but shocking at her intention to kill Ronan. You never know what people are capable of. Dawn didn’t appear too concerned about the death of her father, but she finally got the chance to mourn her mother properly.
