Freya gasped for breath like she had been hit in the chest. Nothing prepared her for the murderous look in his eyes. She could sense the irritation in his expression. Her legs wobbled and her lips quivered. Ronan was supposed to be obsessed with her now that she was pregnant. He is meant to cherish her like no other. Instead, he appears to be disgusted by her.

She pulled at her hair with shaky hands. A muffled scream escaped her lips, she tried hard to let it all out but nothing came. The tears rolled down her face, almost blinding her.
