Ronan’s POV

“How is it that nothing has been found yet? There should have been someone lingering around that place when it was happening.” I started feeling my veins almost pop out of my head.

Timon stared at me patiently. “You know even if someone was there at the time, they would be too scared to death to testify to it. And what if they are being threatened by those who carried out the deed? We have to move carefully to avoid being outplayed.”

I groaned inwardly, ruffling my already scattered hair. It's been three days after the entire saga in the meeting hall and I haven’t been much of myself. I remained stuck in the study going through Aunt Celine’s letters over and over again to be certain they were real. Also, it occurs to me that my uncle has no reason to lie to me. Or does he?

“What are you thinking of?” Timon asked.
