Chapter One Hundred and Twenty-Four

Liam’s POV

“Is there a problem?” I asked, directing my question to both of them.

“Liam, you may be upset with us and that’s fine. But you will not disrespect your father like that. Apologize. Right now,” my mother demanded.

“No”.

“Liam!” she exclaimed.

“Who the hell do you think you are, boy? Coming into my house and disrespecting me in such a manner?” my father asked, standing up and taking gentle strides toward me.

“I really wouldn’t be disrespecting you in such a manner if you didn’t give me a reason to, and trust me, you’ve given me a reason to all my life,” I sneered, standing up and facing him.

At this point, we were practically butting heads with each other. I was about two inches taller than my father so I was towering over him; him looking up at me and me looking down at him. It was as though we were in a breathing competition with each other.

“Get out of my house, Liam,” he growled.

“No,” I snapped.
