Emma’s POV

What the fuck?!

This has to be a joke.

Did I hear him well?

I doubt because what the actual fuck did Liam just say to me?!

Love? How? When? Where? What?

All these thoughts kept floating through my head as I slowly started releasing myself from his embrace. It happened so slowly that I didn’t even realize I had stopped holding him until I was a few inches away from him.

“Emma,” he called my name out, softly, breaking me out from my chain of multiple thoughts.

“What?”

“Are you okay? You look like you’re about to throw up”.

“Yeah, well I’m currently standing naked in a dirty lake, and you just told me that you love me. Excuse me if wanting to hurl is something that I feel like doing at this moment,” I snapped at him.

“I’m sorry,” he said, quietly.

I took a deep breath, trying to gather my thoughts.

“I’m sorry. I just, I can’t do this right me,” I said, hurriedly as I rushed out of the water.

I picked up my clothes and put on my shirt and underwear then ran into the cab
