Chapter One Hundred and Twenty-Five

Liam’s POV

As soon as I stepped out of the main house door, I sprinted down the stairs and into my car. I immediately got onto the road and started heading back home with just one thing, or rather, one person, on my mind; Emma.

Since she was taking over my mind so much, I decided to put a call through to her.

“Hey there,” she greeted me once she picked up the phone.

“Hey, beautiful. What’re you up to?”

“Nothing much. I just finished taking a shower now I’m about to dress up. Are you still at your parent’s place?” she asked.

“Nah. I left a few minutes ago. I’m on my way back home now”.

“Oh. Okay. So how did that go?” she asked, sorry evident through her voice.

“As well as it possibly could considering the kind of person my father is,” I sighed.

“Are you okay?” the sound of worry now more evident in her voice.

“I’ll be alright,” I smiled. “Don’t worry about me”.

“Alright,” she said, taking a deep breath.

“Hey, do you have to be at work tomorrow?” I asked.
