Chapter 3

     Eva took the files Damien gave her to her room in order to have privacy and quietly check on it. She sat down sipping a glass of red wine as she first read the information about the company. 

        ✓✓✓The Acosta empire is a big business corporation founded by Leonardo Acosta. The empire later grew with the help of his friends who are investors and shareholders at the empire now. They are four in number and each has at least 30% shares in the empire. 

The empire deals with the world's largest stock market and also has the best products around. They have about 50,000 staff all over the world. It has branches in many other countries but the main branch is in Madrid, Spain.✓✓✓

She skipped the introduction part and went ahead to check the shareholders especially the four friends of Leonardo Acosta. 

        ✓✓✓Simeon Mateo, Alejandro Moreno, Alfonso Martinez and Diego Aguado✓✓✓ 

        "Hmmm interesting." She smirked. 

She checked their pictures and their history together. Her smile faded wgeh she saw everything. 

        "There's no way." She said unable to believe the coincidence. 

The files fell from her hands as she saw the group they belong to. 

      THE BLUE DRAGONS 

That's what they always called themselves. She held her head as pain filled her and all her painful memories came back to her. 

Leonardo Acosta is one of them? She remembers they're the ones she's saw that night. 

Not only did they take her family from her, they also ruined her life all in the name of money. She suffered a great deal because of them. And Leonardo Acosta is part of them yet he acted like they haven't met before?

What if he knows her and he's pretending? She may be different from how she was years ago but her face hasn't changed. 

Tears slide down her face as she remembers the way she suffered and how they made her lose everything. Finding them wasn't easy but she did at last. 

She knows it's them because they all have a dragon head tattoo on their arms. And there's only one way to find out. 

Her charms. 

         "You all are going to pay for what you did to me. I'm not going to spare anyone this time. It's time for my revenge and that's what I'm going to do!." She yelled at no one. 

She took her phone and called Damien. 

         "Yes Eva." His voice came up almost immediately. 

         "Tell me where did you get this information from?." She asked. 

        " I did the investigation like you asked. I wanted you to check the results yourself. Tell me, what did you find out?." 

       "The blue dragons are in the Acosta empire." 

Damien got up from his seat surprised. 

       "Damn! I knew something was never right with that place. What do you plan to do now?." He asked from the other side. 

        "I have a lot of plans for them. But first, send them an email that I'd like to meet all the shareholders especially the main ones. They're all going to be there. I want to see if they recognize me first before taking any action." She said. 

        "I'll send it right away. But are you alright Eva?." 

Damien knows how the subject of the blue dragons makes her feel. They almost took her life from her. 

         "I'm fine Damien. Thanks for asking. I'll hang up now." She said and hung up. 

Then she let out all the tears she's been hiding inside. She cried her eyes out and fell asleep right there. No one knows what the strong Eva Guerrero is going through. Everyone sees her as a very strong woman and a role model to some. 

Deep down she has a wounded heart hoping to heal one day. Perhaps when she gets her revenge, she will be healed.

Miguel walked around the house with the head maid Alma assigned to show him around. Alma doesn't understand why Eva would just take in a stranger just like that without having a background check on him. 

        "Why did you choose this house young man?." She asked him. 

He sighed. It's only natural for them not to trust him but he needs the money to take care of himself. He's just an orphan who's in need of money to help further his education. 

         "I have tried a lot of houses around but none of them accepted me. I never thought I'd get a chance here. This is the last house I wanted to try before going back." He replied. 

Alma saw the similarity in his eyes with that of Eva's. No wonder she accepted him. Maybe because they have a few similar features. 

        "Don't you go to school? What about your parents?." 

        "I just got scholarship into a prestigious high school and I'm an orphan. I don't have parents." 

Alma felt a bit sorry for him. But then she also had other thoughts. What if he's a spy and he wants to use a sad story to gain sympathy from everyone? There's only one way to find out. 

She's going to keep a close watch on him until he is proven to be clean. 

         "This is the lady's room. You're going to clean it everyday and also serve her tea in the morning. You're going to be living here from now on so go pack up your things." She told him. 

He smiled excited. Living in such a huge mansion is something he never dreamed of. At least he will have a roof over his head now. He grew up in the orphanage and left two years ago. Life and schooling hadn't exactly been something to boast about. 

          "Thank you so much ma'am. I'm never going to disappoint you I promise!." He appreciated. 

         "Eva is a very good woman. I hope you stick to your words and don't make her regret taking you in." Alma added. 

He shook his head. 

            "I won't let her regret it ma'am. I'm going to work hard and prove that I have no bad intentions towards the lady." 

Alma nodded and showed her to her room. While going out of the house, he heard a yell. He felt pain in his heart like he was stung by a bee. It's happening to him again. Not knowing who it was, he followed the direction of the noise and it happens to be Eva's room. 

He wondered what happened to her? In order to avoid getting into trouble on the first day of his job, he decided to leave. He doesn't understand why he felt pain when she yelled. What could be the explanation for feeling pain everytime without understanding where it's coming from?
