Chapter 2

  Eva indeed has a very charming personality. Leonardo has heard a lot about her but he has never seen her before. There's no way he won't accept her offer to buy shares in the Acosta empire. 

         "It's a pleasure to be here Mr Acosta. I've heard a lot about you. I hope my time here is worth it." She said to him. 

He smiled and sat in front of his desk facing her. 

       "The Acosta empire is the biggest and the most sought after in spain. There's no way your stay here won't be worth it." 

He brought out some documents containing information she needs to know about the business. She carefully went through them while feeling Leonardo boring holes in her skin with his eyes. 

She got all the information she nedddd and decided to try them. A decision she had long made because she also has her own plans. 

         "I think I'm going to do it." She finally told him. 

He nodded. 

        " Welcome to the Acosta empire. I'm going to tell my secretary to give you all the necessary details and every other thing you need."

She took her flashy and expensive red bag standing up. She shook his hands again. She also saw how pretty and mesmerizing his eyes are. 

        "I need you to come back in  a few days to sign all the necessary documents and also be introduced to the other board members." He told her. 

       "Sure. Expect me. It's nice to meet you again. Goodbye Mr Acosta." She said and walked out. 

Leonardo stared at her as she walked away. He somehow felt attracted to her immediately. He doesn't usually feel this way for women but she's different. He went back to the meeting room for the other meetings he had.

Eva satisfied with what she has done went home. She got down from her car and entered her mansion which she lives in with her workers only. 

Her workers don't try to get her angry or question her because they know how fierce and dangerous she could be. She may be putting on a charming smile but her mind is full of evil. 

She walked up to her room and took her note. She marked her first plan which is to get into the Acosta empire. She plans to work with them until that can all become hers. One of her maids knocked and came in when she just finished changing. 

            "I'm sorry to disturb you my lady but there's someone downstairs waiting to see you." The maid said. 

         "I don't remember inviting anyone. Who is it?." She asked. 

          " It's a young man my lady. He thinks you need more workers and he decided to apply. I told him there's no vacancy but he won't listen."

Eva nodded. 

        " You can go." 

The maid bowed and left. Eva didn't feel worried at all. She thought that whoever it is should be ready to face whatever she gives the person since he's bold enough to force his way into her home. 

She went downstairs after changing. She met a young teenage boy standing in the living room waiting for her. He looked up on hearing her footsteps. Eva saw the boy as a very good looking kid. Looking at the kid, she somehow felt the need to have him around since there's no one his age around her. 

        "You said you're here for a vacancy right?." She asked him. 

        "Yes madam. I know you don't need a worker but I really need this job so I can be able to take care of myself and also go to school." He said. 

Eva isn't the type to go so sympathetic or be moved by his story but she decided to try him. He may be sent by someone. She's going to keep a close watch on him just in case he decided to betray her. 

          "You can work in the house. I'll tell the head maid to make you my personal maid." She told him. 

The boy's eyes widened. He wasn't expecting her to trust him easily like that. 

         "Thank you so much madam. I'm really happy you accepted me." 

          " What's your name?." She asked. 

          "Miguel madam." He replied with his head bowed. 

Eva got the head maid to come into the living room. Damien also walked in by that time. 

        "You called for me my lady." The head maid said. 

       "This is Miguel. He's going to be my personal maid from today. Show him round the house and also the things he's going to be doing for me." Eva replied her then faced Damien.

          " Come with me." The head maid said to Miguel. 

Miguel bowed and followed the head maid. He didn't lose the look on Damien's face when he was leaving. He wondered who he is to the boss and why he has that look on his face. 

As soon as Miguel left, Damien rushed to Eva. 

         "Who is he Eva?." He asked. 

Eva smirked. 

         " He's my new maid. I just met him now." She replied. 

Damien raised his brow in amusement. Eva can act crazy sometimes. 

          "What? You just accepted some kid who you don't know who he is or where he's from into your house? As if that's not even worse you made him your personal maid? Are you trying to kill yourself? What if he was sent to destroy you?." He scolded. 

          " That's your job to find out." She said and walked to the bar to pour herself a glass of wine. 

Damien stood there watching her. He's very much confused about what to do. Eva is stubborn and once she makes a decision, nothing will change her mind. 

Eva thought about the Acosta empire and the owner. He did seem to be blown away by her beauty. There's no man that wouldn't be with the kind of aura and personality she has. 

          "You haven't told me why you're here by this time Damien." She said coming back to sit on the couch. 

Damien shook his head. 

           "I actually came to give you the list of all the investors and shareholders in the Acosta empire." He brought out a file from his briefcase. 

Eva collected it and started opening it. 

         "It contains all the information about them. It also has the business transaction and profits in the last two years. I hope that's enough." He said. 

She nodded and put the file on the couch. 

         "This should be enough for now. If that's all you can go Damien." She told him. 

Damien nodded and took his briefcase. 

         "I'll be going back to the office. Call me if you need anything." 

         " You know I will." 

Damien smiled and left the house. At least being close to Eva and seeing her face is enough for him. He plans to tell her one day, after she's done with all her plans. For now he doesn't want to disrupt her plans with all that distraction. He also plans to investigate the strange kid that came out of nowhere to work in Eva's house. 

He's not to be trusted.
