Rachelle let those tears out as she was laid on the operating table, her thighs were spread wide exposing her to harsh reality. Rachelle's eyes opened, her eyelashes flickering as it opened. She found herself seated at the dining table, having breakfast with her mother, Morgen and Laura. The memories of her past life starts flooding in as she holds onto the fork tightly. Laura's manipulation and betrayal, her mother's hurtful words and triumph smile about her death, Dominion betrayal and the termination of her pregnancy.Then it hit her that she has been reborn, staring at the memories flooding in. Rachelle left the bridal store, she knew she was going to face the consequences of her actions but doesn't mind as far as she's going to get the freedom and the revenge she wants.She flagged down a taxi, and hopped inside the car as she told the taxi driver her home address and he started driving.Rachelle dwells herself in thoughts as she wonders what her next line of action would be now that she has cut Dominion off from her life.Soon, the taxi alighted in front of her home and Rachelle hopped out from the vehicle, paid the taxi driver and went inside the house.As soon as she got inside, she was welcomed with a resounding slap on her cheek. Her eyes met her mother's cold and raging eyes."Rachelle, what happened at the bridal store?," Laura questioned, anger shown in her voice.She knew instantly that Dominion had informed her about what transpired in the bridal store."I ended my engagement with him. Mother, I won't marry Dominion, never!" She declared and Laura scoffed at her.

After meeting Romeo, Rachelle left the house and returned home at night, her mind occupied with the encounter she had with Romeo.His sharp and straightforward words made her realize something, she's desperate for love and doesn't need to be desperate for it. Instead she should just value herself and let people's love come naturally on its own.As she approached the gate, she saw Dominion standing there looking miserable. "Why did you call off the engagement, Rachelle?" Rachelle's mind raced with different ways to convince him to accept her proposal. Rejection wasn't an option. The reaction to Romeo’s declaration, I found it most adequate, the silence that ensued was total. There was a brief moment of stunned silence before Laura’s face turned white and her lips flopped uselessly as if she was a fish pulled out of water, she could not speak. Morgen, however, gave a gasping sort of groan and her face was white with shock and fear. “What… what do you mean?” Morgen finally was able to force the words out of her lips; she was shaking out of fear. and she said, “This is a joke, right? Please tell me you’re joking Romeo. ” Romeo sat quietly with emotionless facial expression and his eyes staring at Laura uncompromisingly. ”I absolutely promise you that I am not kidding at all,”Well as from today, the engagement is over. ” Once she gathered the disaggregate, Laura moved forward in her chair fixing her eyes on me with the look of scorn and a hint of desperation. This statement caused a stir to the room when it was revealed that Dominion Laurent was at the door. Laura blinked for a moment with disbelief, and though Morgen was currently still shaken, she could not help but look at this turn of events as interesting. Rachelle, however, felt her blood run cold, She threw a glance at the head of the man sitting to her left; He was dressed in a black suit with a red tie and looked like a typical businessman. Why does Dominion need anything, or is it just trying to discover what it’s been missing all these years? And what did he mean by the phrase “information that will change everything”? Laura immediately. The ensuing slap was expected, but the overwhelming emotion that accompanied it was unsettling. As Rachelle attempted to force the door shut, her mother gave her a sharp slap on the cheek, which caused her to barely manage to get back into her room. “How dare you!” Laura fumed her anger. “Oh what have we done for you guys, this is how you pay us back by sleeping with your own sister’s fiancé?” Rachelle sat up straight and all the years of bitterness poured out for her to spill the words she had cherished for years. “All what you have done for me?” she sneered, “I got humiliated, Morgen favored over me, you tried to match me with this man I don’t love? Yes, I’m all bowled over with joy. ” The look on Laura’s face made her mouth drop open when she heard Rachelle explode.
