Alex's POV
It had been a hell of a ride with my collapses, and two hospital visits in one month. I was eating my meal, with Rhonda insisting on feeding me, even though I was fully capable of eating myself. But it felt good to be cared for, even though I didn't want it to continue for long so I don't look like a weakling.
Doctor Pepper, a very stoic doctor who had been my doctor for years came into my room. He came to give me a final checkup before the discharge. "You're looking good, Alex," he said with a smile.
“I feel good too.” I did with a smile.
Dr Pepper nodded, “Does that mean you won't be visiting us again anytime soon?”
