I stood in the living room, looking at my family with excitement. The Christmas tree twinkled in the corner, and the fireplace crackled with warmth. "Hey guys, I have an idea," I said, trying to contain my enthusiasm. "I was thinking we could all go to the Barnes Tavern for the New Year's Eve special.
