I sighed heavily, gazing out the window at the garden I had grown to love. I was bored out of my mind, and I couldn't take it anymore. I had read every book in my study, and now I was itching to get back to my life. I felt like I was too young to be confined to this house, forced to take it easy after a mere heart attack.

As I stared out the window, lost in thought, my nurse, Rachel, entered the room with a bright smile on her face. "Time for your medication, Alex!" she chimed.

I raised an eyebrow, sarcasm dripping from my voice. "More drugs? Can't I just have a break from all this medication for once?"

Rachel chuckled. "Not yet, Alex. You're still recovering. You need these medications to help your heart
