Callox POV

I felt like I was in absolute hell, with my body feeling so dry and sore. Rayell was beside me crying, which made me believe she wasn’t in her senses when she attacked me.

Her body was oozing out blood, which didn’t look so good. It made my fear elevate higher, but I couldn’t do anything about it; the pain could barely allow me to move around.

All I could do was painfully stare at her. Her hands were tightly clenched around mine while her body cuddled against mine.

I wasn’t going to die. When my blood is fried up, I’ll have a new one, and Kai would be too weak to do anything to me. It seemed Allen's plan worked as he shifted vigorously on the floor.

I was, however, worried about Rayell. I didn’t know what was wrong with her, and I feared losing her.

I held her closely to myself and did a silent prayer in my head before my eyes grew weaker and my vision went black.

The next time I opened my eyes, I was no longer in the woods. I was on my bed in my palace. The room was empty,
