Dustin POV

We had been walking in the woods for what felt like forever; my feet felt sore and limb, and I was starving for food and water.

The trip back to the kingdom was quite far; they didn’t have carriages, and the horses they carried were only mounted on by the lady and some men; the rest were fated to use their legs to walk.

“We shall rest here and continue the journey tomorrow,” the lady, whose name I heard was Lady Maria, noted when we got to a precise point in the wood, which was big and able to contain the tents that were being set up,

I was tied to one of the tent holes and left to sit on the bare floor outside. At the same time, the rest shuffled to get inside the tent and get a night's rest.

I swear my anger was already exhausted at this point, but I did make a mental note to kill every single one of them for daring to put me through these hurdles.

They were out of wolfsbane to keep me weak, and the beat next option was to starve me.
