Not all changes are good, not all changes are worth sacrificing everything you believe in.

And now its my turn to stop and ask the question.. is my sacrifice worth it.

We are made to believe that the moon goddess is our true goddess. But right now I’m not sure what to believe.

When I woke the sun was starting to rise and Sofia was laying next to me with her head on my shoulder. We talked about the things we say and what that meant for her from this day on. She was shocked that by joining us as our daughter and being claimed as the next heir to take the dark-ling throne in my stead meant she would be thrust into the world of powers and abilities.

Her body hurt and her mind was a jumble of memories, pain, and aggression as she retold me of everything she saw though my eyes as we stood in a damp cave.

Sofia had been marked with a raised silver scar on her palm, the symbol of two horns and wings had been burned into her skin while we were in the cave and I couldn’t do anything to h
