Chapter 63: Slap

" did you see my child?" I asked the maid that I bumped into. She shook her head and my heart leapt into my throat.

I stood there, unable to move, my heart was pounding against my chest. Adrenaline rushed through me and in the next second, I found my legs moving again. I don't know where they were taking me to but I knew I was running. Shouting at the top of my lungs and brushing past the servants.

" Nora!" A thunderous voice yelled from behind me and I halt in my track.

" What is wrong with you? " Christian's voice thundered and I felt a wave rushed through me.

He took steady strides towards me and gripped my hand immediately he reached where I was.

" What came over you?" He asked, shaking me violently and my knees went weak. My body trembled in fright. He was scaring and his fingers were dugging into my delicate skin.

That was it, all Alpha's are cruel. Christian wasn't an exception either.

My eyes squinted and my face wrinkled. The lines on my forehead deapened and soft whimpers
