Chapter 68: New beginning

" Dad," Diana called as she rushed into Alpha Christian's room in her pajamas.

Christian closed his eyes and pulled the quilt over his head.

" Not now please," Christian mumbled but Diana was persistent.

" Look at what I found in Nora's room," she said with a croaked voice while stretching the note in her hand.

" I saw it already. She left," Christian said huskily and coiled his toes.

" You knew all about it?" Diana asked with a high-pitched voice, disappointment lacing her voice.

" No, I don't," Alpha Christian answered and pulled the quilt off his head. He turned to face Diana with his hair splattering on his face. He knew that if he doesn't talk about it now, he won't be able to have the sleep that he missed last night.

Diana squints her eyes at him questioningly. If he doesn't know all about it then how did he know that she left?

She really doesn't want to believe that Nora left all of a sudden because she can't imagine the pain that she would feel in her heart. She just hop
