A silent and peaceful town.

The sun has raised and is beaming his rays through the window on a beautiful sleeping beauty.

Oh yeah, that’s me.

“Hey wake up, you stupid girl and stop daydreaming,” the voice banged in my ears finally waking me up.

“Mom, why did you have to wake me up so early?,” I asked. Uh yeah, that’s my mom.

May sound strict but is quite loving. “Early you say! It’s already 10. Girls are meant to wake up early and help their mother, not play games like you for the whole day,” she shouted again, “You left your PC on again!

How many times have I told you to off it when you go to sleep.

Listen girl, if you do this one more time, then don’t blame me for cutting your pocket money.”

“Alright, alright, I won’t do it again,” I replied as I yawned.

“This is the twentieth time you said this in this month. Now wake up fast and get refreshed. The postman has dropped a letter for you. It seems to be the results of some interviews,” she said.

“What?,” I shouted as I ran through the staircase, down to the ground floor and sprang out of the house to get the post.

“Huff, what a silly girl,” my mom sighed as she cleaned my room.

It was a letter, a letter for me. I was shocked as I read it. It couldn’t be. How could I? It read :-

Subject – Passing of interview

Dear Madam

You have successfully passed in the interview for our company. You are welcome to join our gaming company. Make sure to bring this letter with you during the visit.

Is this true? Oh My God! I passed the interview for Typhoon Gaming, one of the world’s top gaming company. Seriously!

I ran inside with all my might.

“Mom, I have passed the interview for Typhoon Gaming. I’m going to the company. Bye,” I said.

She held my hand and said, “You stupid kiddo, you haven’t even gotten off of your pajamas or had breakfast. Where are you rushing off to? Now go and get refreshed.”

I ran up to my room. Took my clothes and took a bath. Wore a gaming t-shirt and a skirt and headed down for a breakfast.

My mom had prepared a wonderful breakfast for me. I had it as fast as possible.

I was about to choke when my mom handed me a glass of water. After my breakfast she asked me if I had taken everything.

I replied in affirmative and headed out. I booked a taxi and headed out to Typhoon Gaming Company.

After an hour I was standing in front of a tall building with several hundred floors. I headed into the building.

I went to the receptionist and told her that I had come to join the company. She then lead me to a room.

There were quite a few number of people in the room, which looked like an auditorium.

I found a seat for myself and sat there. It was looking as if an important announcement.

Soon people began to clap. I looked around to see who they were clapping for. There he was, Walter Smith, the CEO-cum-President of Typhoon Gaming Company.

He is a dominant figure among businessmen. So dominant that people fear his aura.

He climbed onto the stage and began to speak, “Ladies and Gentlemen, as you all know, you are going to be joining this company as a batch of new interns.

This year we will be focusing on the new game, War of Legends. We will be pairing you up with another new intern in accordance with your abilities. So all the best,” he said.

The CEO left after the short speech. He may be the great businessman for the world but for us he was a godly person.

After he left, a blue-haired woman came to us. She looked as if she was in her 30s.

“Hello everyone, I’m Emily Jayde. I’m an executive at Typhoon Gaming Company. You may call me Miss Emily. Today I will be forming teams of two out of you,” said Miss Emily.

She then called out our names and separated us into pairs. After a lot of waiting, finally it was my turn.

“Miss Raschel McAdams and Mr William Smith, please step forward,” she said.

I stepped forward and waited for my partner to step forward. There he was.

A handsome, young man, came forward and stood beside me. He looked as if he was of the same age as me. His looks, attire, was similar to that of a star.

“You both will be forming a team for The War of Legends. All the best,” Miss Emily said.

We both looked at each other. “Hi, nice to work with you,” said William.

“Hello, I’m Raschel McAdams,” I replied.

“That’s all for today. In the remaining time you will be spending time with your partners, to make yourself comfortable and introduce each other,” Miss Emily said.

What! That’s all! But one thing, won’t it be weird. He’s like a star, while I’m just some random poor girl. Will it be fine if we go out together?

“So, where are we going?,” William asked. “I don’t know. You have any ideas?,”I replied.

“What about - ,” we started

🙎 – “5-star hotel?”

👩‍💼 – “Food stall?”

🙎 – “Aquarium?”

👩‍💼 – “Movie?”

🙎 – “Oh right, we can buy a theatre then!”

Eh!! Seriously!! This guy is really a big shot.

I was thinking of watching a movie. But this guy is on a whole different level. He wants to buy a theater? Ahh….

“Alright then, we’ll go wherever you want to,” I finally said. “Alright then, how about a shopping mall?,” he asked. “Hmm. Ok,” I replied.
