THE CALVARY

"Won't you say your goodbyes?" Alisson glared at Nicholas who was looking at Avery's window.

Nicholas got Alisson's attention. "I already have." He smiled and looked back to the window again. "Eyaih!" He leg butt the horse while the horse neighed.

All this while, Charles stared at Nicholas and Alisson. "The alpha is weak. Who is this again? Going in and out of the hall." He clicked his tongue and went back inside.

Avery's attention was drawn aback when she had a knock on the door. "Who is there?" Avery asked. She hoped it was Nicholas, but she knew that was never possible.

Pinching of fingers due to mental stress, she couldn't ask again. Avery walked to the door and opened it - Rose.

"Rose… You should have come right in." Avery complained.

"Thought you'd be resting." Avery opened the door wide enough for Rose to enter.
