"Hold on Dakota. Everything will be okay, just push a little bit more and all this will be over," an elderly woman spoke calmly.

Dakota, Nicholas' biological mother was on the bed with a piece of cloth shuffled into her mouth and her hands holding another piece of clothing tied to each side of the bed. She was struggling, and the midwives knew nothing was going too well.

The child's positioning wasn't the way it should be. "I guess we need to turn the child." One of the midwives informed them.

"Yes, that's what we should do. The child lost balance."

They tried their best and successfully turned the child. "Dakota, now I need you to push as hard as you can." The eldest of the midwives said.

Dakota hummed loudly. Younger Jasmine paced back and forth. He could hear the screams of his beloved wife. Biting his fingers, and stealing glances through the holes in the door. "Calm down, everything will go as planned," Devon assured him - Elias was present too.
