Drugged and desperately hot...

Cracking her eyes slowly open, Eva moaned as the bright light in the room burned her eyesight. The beeping of machines and the thudding in her head reminding her of what has happened. To think Calvin would turn into an animal and almost kill her, Eva felt her insides shudder.

Just then the door opened, ushering in the last person she thought she would see.

“Ooh good, I see you're awake?” Mr. Lawrence Adams, her uncle, said walking towards her with no ounce of remorse on his face.

Eva knew better than to answer anything, if she thought her husband was worse then she was mistaken. Lawrence Adams was the worst of them all, ever since her parents passed away in that accident, this man had given her nothing short of suffering.

“It's good you weren't badly hurt, such a shame that you had to find out in that way,” her uncle said, his voice full of mockery.

Anyone who would have heard him would have mistaken his cold tone for that of concern.

Eva blinked her eyes, her throat feeling like bags of sand had been dragged through it. She knew her uncle's visit was either to ask for money or insult her.

“Get ready tonight, you must attend the engagement party, you don't want to make our family look bad now do you?” Her uncle asked, looking at her with his cold gaze.

Eva just wanted to disappear, her paining limbs rest to protest but she knew there was no way of escaping it.

Nodding her heavy head slightly she managed to get a smile out of her uncle's stoic face.

“That's my girl, be happy for your cousin sweetie, you know Calvin never really loved you, right?” He said adding salt to the wound.

Eva felt her eyes sting as tears threatened to break a river.

“Look I don't want to hurt you or anything but you should know Christine and Calvin have been together for three years, so I'm sure you can do the calculations,” Mr. Lawrence said, his lips curling up in what looked like a distant smile.

Eva didn't know whether he was laughing at her or just happy that his daughter was getting married to her long time love.

The air at the NY airport was not different from what he could remember. Ronald Foxx, the youngest son of the Foxx Empire boarded a BMW ready to visit the place he once swore he would never go back to.

Ever since he had a falling out with his elder brother, he swore to abandon the place. But as a new finding sparked his interest he couldn't help but want to revisit the past. But mostly the key point was to claim what was legally his.

The drive was smooth as they pulled into the Foxx Villa.

Ronald knew today was his elder brother's son's engagement but that was not his business there. They never bothered to invite him to any of their events, not that he would attend. He needed a long rest to recover the energy to face his brother after the party.

The Villa hadn't changed since his grandfather, the late Marcos Foxx. Ronald smiled as he remembered just how much he loved him and how close they were. This was his mansion legally courtesy of Marcos Foxx and he would fight tooth and nail to have it.

Entering through the backdoor, Ronald slowly crept to his room glad that the crowded place made him look like a normal guest. Except for a few glances here and there, he didn't find it hard to reach his room.

He sighed as he saw nothing was moved in the room, he was glad to see at least the great Charles Foxx, his elder brother didn't take the room from him as well.

On the other hand, Eva Adams dragged her tired body across the busy hall filled with people. To think she was attending the engagement of the man who used to be her husband and her only cousin. She couldn't help but feel glad that it appeared like she was invisible.

Well at least she was until she bumped into something which sent her staggering back.

Her thudding head felt like it would break from the impact.

“Look at the whore! The nerve to even attend! How evil are you Eva? Can't you stand to see me happy?” Christine's voice came filled with anger.

Eva raised her head slowly to lock eyes with her, she didn't want any trouble. Christine had done enough to her, she couldn't help but silently pray that her cousin would walk away.

“Cat got your tongue? Huh?” Christine asked, flaunting her long purple dress as she walked towards her in an intimidating way.

“Please Chris, I don't want any trouble, I already left Cal for you, what else do you want?” Eva asked, her voice coming out weak and strained.

“What do I want? I want you out of my engagement party Eva! Out!” Christine raised her voice yelling at her, as a result drawing attention to them.

Christine quickly smiled at everyone assuring them everything was alright. Eva caught her uncle's figure approaching them, on his right way, her aunt Susan who hated her to the bone. She couldn't help but curse the moment she decided to obey her uncle.

“What's happening here? Is everything alright honey?” Susan asked, smiling at her daughter before sizing Eva up and down.

“Yes mommy, we were just talking with Eva, she's saying something about getting some rest, you know she sacrificed a lot attending straight from the hospital,” Christine explained smiling adding sarcasm to the last part.

“Ooh yeah I understand, I'm sure there's an empty room somewhere, why don't you have this milk and go have some rest,” Susan said, handing her milk in a bottle.

Eva looked at her feeling confused, she didn't understand since when her aunt was nice to her.

“You can't refuse something your aunt is giving you, that's rude, she's trying to be nice, sweetie,” Lawrence said urging Eva on.

In public you would have termed the Adams as the most loving family but Eva knew all too well the ugly side of them.

Eva took the bottle hesitantly, opening it as her aunt urged her on with a nod.

Susan and her daughter exchanged a look making Eva feel her stomach feel either tension.

As Eva gulped down the first sip she instantly regretted it as her aunt grinned deviously as if she had won. Eva could only hope whatever she drank didn't kill her.

“Run along sweetie, get some rest, the Villa is big, we're like family now with the Foxxs,” Lawrence said smiling at her.

Eva ran to the most isolated of the rooms, her body feeling strangely calm. It was like the calm before the storm, making her feel worried. And true to her thoughts she felt her body heat up as if she was running a fever but different.

Her core becoming strangely hot making her feel a sexual hunger she had never felt before.

She didn't have time to comprehend if this was their plan to embarrass her, all she knew is that she needed it.

Pushing through the locked doors desperately, Eva felt tears fall on her hot cheeks. The last thing she wanted was getting embarrassed or called names In Front of everyone. She just needed a quiet place and leave the rest to fate.

As if the universe heard her, one of the doors opened sending her flying in uninvited. Eva doubted anyone would be living there given the location of the room. The dimly lit room making it hard for her to navigate around, for all she knew she could be in the store room.

The first thing her hands touched was the soft bed making her wish the heat could go away so she would disappear into the warm cozy wool. She moaned at the softness as the heat in her body kept driving her crazy.

Her hands froze as they ran through something hard and warm on the bed. Eva couldn't comprehend what she was touching but she just needed to hold onto something.

Her dripping and aching core making her want to scream for help from any male out there like a desperate animal in heat.

Letting her whole body get on the bed as she writhed in desire and hunger, Eva froze when she heard a deep groan.

“What the fuck!” The deepest heavenly voice she ever heard cursed making her aching core burn even more.
