Alpha Dalton’s POV–Alpha of Silver Mountain Pack

“Lottie wasn’t there for training again yesterday. Apparently, she and Maddox have gone away for a few weeks.” My mother tells me over breakfast.

“That’s strange. Surely, she would have said something to Stacey during their last session.”

Maybe she has gone to visit her father. He is alone at the River Valley Pack. I doubt he will not want regular visits from her now that he knows about her existence. I give a nod to show I agree. I’m getting ready to say something to degrade him. “Alpha, there is a Member of the Wolf Council at the gate, with his protection detail. He wants entry.” Is the mind link I received? I looked at my mother. “Edward is at the border? I wonder why he didn’t call first. He always informs me before his visits.”
