CHAPTER 2

Sofia's POV     

Today is the first day of school. I'm kind of excited because I haven't seen my friends and boyfriend all summer, though my boyfriend came to Paris during my mom’s fashion show.

I woke up, took a shower and did my little makeup which is just eyeliner and mascara, as I sat in front of the mirror. I don't usually put on makeup during school days, I only put on makeup when I'm going out, not that I need it but I like to feel good about how I look.

By the time I got out of the bathroom, Sonya our house keeper had already brought out my outfit for today __ I showed her what I wanted to wear yesterday night. A short black shirt and a nude pink top. I let my long light brunette hair done.

After getting ready I went downstairs to have breakfast with my dad.

Then the driver took me to School, you're probably wondering why I have a driver. Well there was this incident that happened at my somophore year my mom had this stalker who was under the impression that she was his wife and I was his daughter, he followed me every where and almost kidnaped me but I was lucky my dads security team figured it out and the guy was arrested and all.

Anyway my dad doesn't want to get me a car till my birthday which is jew few months away. Which by the way I kind of bribed him, telling him since I'll be leaving for college soon it's better I get used to driving.

I only get to drive when he is out of town which is often.

I arrived at school and went to my locker, as usual all eyes were on me __ this is what happens when you are the most popular girl in school. Everything I do is in the public eye and girls want to be my friends or dress like me, I mean I don't even know how I became so popular and I don't even care about popularity and stuff.

I'm known as the Queen B of west Beverly high. And before you judge me I'm not a bully or a bitch as how popular girls of high school are portrayed but everyone respects me and tries to be on my good side. Well I can sometimes be a bitch if you get on my bad side.

I checked my phone for the hundredth time today to see if Noah texted me, I'm not sure why I'm eager for him to call or text but I've been telling myself  I just want to help him settle in like his dad asked but he hasn't called or texted__ I'm just so intrigued by him. Well he didn't look he wanted my company last night so I will just not think about him like I've been doing since we met yesterday.

I was standing in front of my locker when my best friends Jasmine, Paula and Michael saw me and came to say hi.

Paula has been my best friend since kindergarten, Jasmine and I met when I was 10 years old and Michael is also our best friend we met through my boyfriend Zack, he is Zack's childhood family friend and we became best friends the first day we met __ he is like really cool and fun.

"Hey Sofi!" Jasmine says giving me a hug, "I missed you so much".

"I missed you too Jasmine" I answered as I returned her hug.

Paula also gave a hug, "I missed you Paula" I said to her as I returned her hug.

"Move ladies" Michael said to Jasmine and Paula as he also gave me a hug. "So how was your summer," I asked them.

"Mine was okay, you know how annoying my grandmother can be" Jasmine says while rolling her eyes dramatically. she spent her summer in Texas with her grandmother.

"Mine was great" Paula says, "me and Jake were together all the time," she added. Jake is her boyfriend who is also one of my best friends and they can't seem to keep their hands off each other.

"Mine was super awesome" Michael says smiling, "I met alot of new people".

"And by new people you mean fuck buddies" Jasmine added as we all laughed.

"Haha very funny", Michael says while rolling his eyes. And then quickly added __ "Jasmine you know not all of us are sluts" he says to her smirking and we all laughed at them again.

"We know yours was great Sofia, we didn't miss all the Snapchats and Instagram photos you posted"__ Paula says smiling.

"Yeah it was great, I enjoyed Paris and New York and also fashion week". I was telling them about fashion week when Zack my boyfriend and Jake saw us and came to say hi.

"Hey babe," Zack says to me while pulling me in for a long kiss as he whispered to me "I missed you so much baby."

"Geez you two get a room." Michael says while pretending to gag.

"Awwn Michael are you jealous." Zack says to Michael smiling. Michael just rolled his eyes at Zack.

The bell rang so we all went to class. Zack walked me to class.

Me and Paula have thesame subject so we went to class together, she sat down few seats away from me as usual __ we don't usually sit together or we will end up talking the whole period.

Our maths teacher started teaching and passing the scheme of work for the semester when the principal came in with Noah. All girls in the class were already swooning over Noah, even Paula sent me a message about how good looking Noah is.

The teacher introduced him to the class.

All the seats in the class were full except for the one beside me so the teacher asked him to sit there and we continued with the lesson. I stole quick glances of him as class went on, at one point he caught me staring at him and I quickly glanced away for which he smirked at me.

He wasn't in our next class, so I didn't see him since maths class. It was lunch time, my friends and I went to our regular table and sat down__ as usual all eyes were on us.

"So guys I heard  Matt kilbourne is dating slutty Maggie." Paula says immediately we sat down. Matt kilbourne had a crush on me but I only liked him as friends so he stopped hanging out with us.

Maggie is this crazy bitch who is so jealous of me, I have no idea why. She just doesn't like me, I mean I don't even care, God I hate high school.

"That crazy bitch! I'm sure she's just dating Matt to annoy you Sofi." Jasmine says.

"Oh please guys let's not talk about her, she has nothing more to do with her life than try to be me and besides I don't care if she's dating Matt." I said as I roll my eyes.

"So let's please change the topic by the way I'm having a party this weekend" Michael says smiling.

"Really??" Jasmine asked __ "I thought your mom banned you from having parties at home."

"That was when we finished my dads beloved alcohol cabinet but she's over it now."

"Okay then party it is," I say smiling as Zack came to the table with Noah and Jake. How did he even know Noah, I thought to myself. I mean Zack's not really someone who makes friends easily.

"Who is having a party." Zack asks as he gave me a kiss and sat down opposite me and Noah sat down beside him and Jake sat down beside Paula.

"Me." Michael answered__ so "Who's the hottie?" Michael asks Zack while looking at Noah.

"This is Noah the new guy." coach asked me help him settle in. "He is the new member of the football team."

"Oh cool! hey Noah I'm Michael and this is Jasmine, Paula and Sofia." Michael introduced us while shamelessly swooning over Noah. Michael's gay.

"Hey! nice to meet you", he said to Michael, Paula and Jasmine and then he looked at me and said we have already met.

"Yeah we had dinner yesterday" I explain as I received weird stares from everyone at the table so I quickly added. "We are kind of family friends," I added.

We ate as we talked about our summer, Noah was mostly quiet but he kept on staring at me.

Zack was holding my hand as we walked to my locker to make out before class, then I remembered I had to go and submit some sheets to the guidance and councilor.

"Oh shit! Zack I forgot I have to submit some papers to the guidance counselor."

"Really babe do you really have to!" Zack says slightly irritated that I was cutting off our make out session.

I nod yes.

"Anyway I'm coming over to your house after school today, I missed you a lot," he says kissing me gently.

"I missed you too, I better go before the bell rings." I say pulling away.

I was about to go when Zack saw Noah walking past us and said "hey Noah where are you going to? We have football practice."

"I'm going to the guidance and counselor's office", Noah answered__ "do you know which way it is?"

"Oh right, babe aren't you going there now__ why don't you two go together".

"Sure." I answered giving him a kiss before me and Noah walked together to the guidance and counselor's office.

"So how was your first day of school." I asked him breaking the silence. He ignored me__ I hate when I'm being ignored.

So I quickly said, "What's your problem with me Noah you have been so rude to me since we first met."

"My problem with you is that I think you're a spoilt little brat, and I had a great first day since I was able to sit with the popular kids," he added sarcastically.

"What? You just met me and you have already judged me being spoilt and I didn't force you to sit with us. How can you be so rude while I have been nothing but nice to you since we met.

I never judge anyone based on just seeing them without knowing them first. Maybe you should try doing that sometime." I say  harshly as I felt my eyes welling up.

By the way I don't care what people think about me." I added as I entered the guidance and counselor's office.

I gave her the papers and came out Noah was still standing there, I walked past him. He grabbed my hand and pulled me close to him so close I could feel his breath against my face.

"Really princessa because you seem like you care. If you don't care then why do you look hurt?" he asked in Spanish with his eyes looking down at my lips which were just inches away from him.

"Say whatever you want but I really don't care about what people think about me, beside you know nothing about me so just let me go." I said as I pulled away from him and ran to my next class.

I thought about Noah all through last period till I went home, I don't even know why I was thinking about him. I mean he clearly has some issues with me and I haven't done anything wrong to him, he even called me a spoilt little brat, the first thing that people think when they look at me is that I'm just a dumb pretty rich bitch.

It doesn't hurt me because I know I'm pretty and I'm also rich and I can also be a bitch sometimes, But I'm not dumb infact I'm really smart, I have a high GPA and I've never scored any grade below A-, But it just makes me angry that Noah also thinks so.

We just met yesterday but he has already judged me. He's also rich, I could also judge him thinking he's just a spoilt rich kid too but I didn't.

I had a nap immediately I went home and also did some posting on my blog. I have this blog about fashion and makeup.

Zack's coming over after his football practice. He usually comes over after school and we make out before my dad comes home, he doesn't like boys coming up to my room.

Zack and I haven't had sex yet, I mean almost everyone is having sex in high school currently and I think we might soon but the main reason we haven't done it yet is because I'm still a virgin but Zack doesn't know.

In fact no one knows except for Michael and I only told him because he figured it out, even my best friends Paula and Jasmine think Zack and I have done it already but we haven't. We have done alot of things but we haven't gone all the way yet, Zack even asked why not and I told him I'm not ready yet.

I just don't want to lose my virginity because my boyfriend wants me to, beside we have only been dating before summer started. And I know he badly wants us to do it, I don't even know why he's eager. He has had sex before.

I just want to feel connected with the person I finally decide to lose my virginity to.
