CHAPTER 9

I text Ryan back, suggesting we have a movie hang out. And he was up for it texting back immediately asking which time to pick me up. I replied back saying 5 so that I can have an hour to get ready.

Zack and the guys leave immediately after Paula and Jake finish making up atleast that's what it looks like because they're both smiling.

"So you have a movie date with Ryan?" Jasmine asks after the guys leave.

"Yeah, I totally made it up at first but I texted Ryan back so we're hanging out in an hour which by 5 and I have to get ready." I say standing up and walking up the stairs.

"Wait I don't understand," both Jasmine and Paula say following me up the stairs to my room.

"Well Ryan texted me asking if we could hang out but I didn't want so I didn't reply his text. But now that I've told Zack I have a date, I'm going out with Ryan. Now will you please help me find something to wear." I say.

"Okay so let me get this straight, you don't actually want to hangout with Ryan but you have to because of Zack." Jasmine asks.

"Yeah kind of." I answer after pretending to think.

"Sounds like you want to make Zack jealous." Paula says.

It's totally true I think to myself, I want to make someone jealous but not Zack. I want to make Noah jealous but they don't have to know that.

I ignore Paula's comment and say "why are you so happy by the way. I thought you and Jake were fighting."

"Well we made up actually." Paula says smiling.

"Wow that was fast, so what exactly was the cause of the fight." Jasmine asks.

"I don't actually know," Paula says thinking.

"Really? I thought you two made up." I say.

"Well yeah but we didn't talk we kind of just made out and I gave him a handjob." Paula says smiling.

"Ewww oh my god, you gave him a hand job in the toilet downstairs, I'm using never that toilet again." Jasmine says.

"Wow what a healthy relationship," I say rolling my eyes at Paula.

"What? He was probably ignoring because he was horny." Paula says.

"Sweetie he wouldn't be ignoring you if he was horny." Jasmine says.

"Well I don't even want to know why he was ignoring me since we're now good with each other." Paula says.

I think about what Jake told me about why he was ignoring her and I decide not to tell her since she looks happy.

I just finished getting ready when Ryan texted saying he's outside. "Guys I have to go Ryan is here, see you in 2 hours or maybe less. I'm sorry am bailing on our girls night."

"Girl it's fine, it's for a good cause so we're not mad at you. I hope everything works out Ryan because you two look great together," Paula says excitedly.

I don't say anything, I just smile thinking about Noah.

I walk outside to Ryan's car, he's standing outside looking at me.

"Hey! You look good." He says smiling.

"Thanks you too," I say.

He open the car door for me before going round and entering the drivers seat and driving away.

He's such a gentleman, too bad my heart, my mind is controlled by someone who doesn't even care to notice, I think to myself my mind drifting to Noah.

The drive to the cinema was slow, we mostly engaged in little talk. Ryan asking about me, the movies I usually like to watch. I tell I watch almost everything but not a fan of horror movies. We decide to watch this new comedy movie.

We get our tickets, popcorn and sodas. We were about to enter when someone called both my name and Ryan's name we turn around to see Zack and Noah with their dates.

"Hey!" Ryan says to Zack and Noah.

"Hey, Ryan and hello Sofi." Zack says.

"What are you doing here." I ask Zack.

"Hello to you too baby," Zack says smiling mischievously.

I roll my eyes him walking in and Ryan walking right behind me.

"I'm sorry about that I say to Ryan, I didn't know he was going to be here." I say apologetically.

"It's okay, I don't mind. You two aren't together right?"

"Yeah we're not." I say.

We sit at the back, Noah and Zack with their girls sit two lines in front of us. I kept looking at Noah and the girl he's with and not even once did he turn to look at me.

The movie just started but the little skank had her hands all over him, God I hated that word skank and felt horrible calling her that she's probably nice.

Ryan puts his hand around me too, it felt a little uncomfortable but I don't say anything.

Thirty minutes into the movie, Noah says something to Zack and then he stands up and leaves with Jessica.

Before he leaves I make sure he sees Ryan's arm around me, he gives me death stares and Jessica waves at me before they leave.

Immediately after the movie ended, Ryan and I leave to avoid running into Zack and Nancy. We drive home, he parks in the driveway before asking.

"Did you enjoy yourself today? I mean I hope I was great company."

"Yeah I had fun, the movie was nice and the Twitter reviews I saw were garbage." I say with a smile.

"Well I'm glad, maybe we should go out on a real date sometime. Maybe dinner?" He asks.

"Ryan today was good and I had fun but I just recently got out of a relationship, I'm not looking for anything right now. I'm sorry." I say nervously.

"Oh right, it's okay but whenever you're ready for anything, call me."

"Ofcourse sure." I babble. "We can atleast still be friends?" I ask.

"Yeah." He says with a grin.

I come down from the car and walk in, Paula and Jasmine were both waiting for me downstairs.

"So??" Paula says eagerly immediately she sees me.

"What?" I pretend not to know what she's asking.

"Cmon Sofia you've to tell us everything" Jasmine says.

"Well if you must know, I'm not going out with Ryan again. Not that he isn't great company but I'm not ready for anything right now and it's not fair to him. I only went out with him to prove that I've moved but I'm not ready guys." I say.

"Oh sweetie we're sorry we pushed you into this." Paula and Jasmine say pulling me into a group hug.

"It's not your fault entirely, I agreed to go out with him." I say.

"Well we love you and support you in everything and right now I'm thinking about alcohol therapy." Jasmine says.

"Oh I like that, let me see what I can steal from the alcohol cabinet downstairs. Pauly come help find something my dad won't notice." I say.

We go upstairs drink ourselves till we passed out on my bed. The next morning I wake up to the sound of a cellphone ringing.

"Oh God who's phone is that," Paula says trying to wake me up.

"Don't touch me it's yours," I say groaning.

"God I think I'm going to throw up," Jasmine says running to the bathroom.

"My head hurts answer it Sofi," she says.

"Ah just ignore it, whoever it is will stop calling. It starts ringing again after few minutes."

"God!" I say snatching the phone from my bedside table. "Pauly it's Jake calling," I say passing it to her.

"No answer it" she says again.

I answer it putting it on speaker.

"What's up Jake why are you calling so early in the morning," I say groaning.

"Morning? It's 1 am." He says.

"Well we're still sleeping babe." Paula says.

"Are the two of you drunk? Now I must know what kind of party you girls had yesterday."

"Well call us later," I say ending the call.

I stand up and walk into the bathroom to find Jasmine sitting on the floor.

"God I'm never drinking again." I say before I start throwing up into the toilet.

"I'm with you on that girlfriend," Jasmine says groaning.

"Miss Sofia?" Sonya says entering into my room.

"I'm here, inside the bathroom" I call her out.

"Wow you three girls look awful, take a shower and come downstairs I'll fix something for the hangover."

"I don't think I can take a shower, I don't feel well Sonya." I say.

"Ofcourse you can, she says turning on the shower and helping me to stand up. Now take a shower and come downstairs okay?"

"Okay" I say pouting.

I remove my clothes and get into the shower, leaving Jasmine sitting on the floor. She stares at my naked body for a minute before she quickly gets up and go back into the bedroom.

I soak up under the hot shower for some minutes then I brush my teeth and walk back into the bedroom. Sonya was right I feel much better.

Jasmine takes a shower next then Paula. Before we all head downstairs.

Sonya pours something for us all into a cup, a smoothie I think but it tastes bad. We all feel much better, then we eat some waffles and then go to the tv room.

"What should we do today?" I ask.

"And please Jasmine don't say therapeutic drinking." Paula quickly adds.

"Trust me guys I'm with you I'm not drinking again." Jasmine says.

"Well today's Sunday what's there to do? Let's just hang out here and lounge by the pool."

"Yeah let's invite the guys?" Paula asks before adding unless you don't want to see Zack then you don't have to.

"It's okay, Zack and I might not be together but we're still friends.

"Let me text the group chat then." Jasmine says.

"Oh and swimming sounds good." Jasmine adds.

"I didn't bring my swimsuit," Paula says. "I didn't either," Jasmine says.

"You can borrow something of mine, You know that." I say rolling my eyes at them.

We all change into swimsuits and go outside and jump into the pool.

Michael was the first to arrive. "Wow you guys look awful he says looking at us." He says joining us by the pool.

"Trust me we look much better than earlier, there's just something about swimming." I say.

"Well let me jump in too," he says as he strips to his boxers and join us in the pool.

"Pool party?" Zack asks as Jake, him and Noah join us.

"Not a a party, just pool hanging out." Jasmine says.

"Trust me we had quite a party last night and I'm never getting drunk." I say.

"Why wasn't I invited," Michael says splashing water at my face.

"Hey! It was girls night." I say splashing back at him.

"Well we want something to drink since you girls are never drinking again." Noah says to Micheal but looking straight at me.

"Here is someone who can read my mind, we want something to drink." Michael says splashing water at me again.

"Okay let me ask Sonya to make something for you boys," I say splashing water back at Michael.

"Sonya!" I call her name out. Maria one of the kitchen staffs comes out.

"Sorry miss Sofia, Sonya went out for grocery shopping. Did you want something?" She asks.

"How about some lemonade, thanks." I say to her.

"Okay I'll get right to it" she says walking back inside.

"Lemonade?? Sweetie we want alcohol. Or did you finish Daddy Sánchez's alcohol cabinet last night?" Zack says.

"I'm not Michael, the lemonade is for us girls and I'll go get you boys some vodka." I say splashing water at Michael.

"Pass me that towel over there." I say to Zack. He brings it over, instead of giving it to me he says "how about you thank me with a kiss."

"How about I don't." I say as I come out the pool drenched in water with my bikini sticking to my body. I collect the towel wrapping it around my body cleaning the water before removing it and hanging on a rack close to the pool.

"Wow I almost forgot how hot you look in a bikini." Zack says smirking.

"Well now you remember." I say smirking back at him before I push him into the pool with his clothes on.

"Jesus Sofi, are you crazy." He says as everyone laughs at him.

"Maybe just a little." I say grinning at him.

"It's a good thing I love you or I'll pull you back into the pool." He says.

"I love you too Zack. And now let me go get you some alcohol." I say laughing.

"I'll come help you with that." Noah says following me.
