CHAPTER 3

Sofia's POV

I ignored Noah for the whole week, after his stupid outburst on calling me a spoilt little brat.

But for some reason, I've been thinking about him more than I'm comfortable with.

Zack and Noah have seem to become friends, in fact not only is he friends with my boyfriend Zack but he's also friends with our whole group of friends.

He sits with us during lunch, he's always hanging out with us. I avoided him whenever I could but he is just always there, he even added me on Snapchat. He would watch my Snapchat story every time I posted anything but he wouldn't say hi or even apologize for calling me a spoilt little brat.

It was finally Friday, I was already tired of school and it's just the first week. At least I will have some fun this weekend, Michael is having a party tomorrow night.

I was still at school, Zack and I are going out together after his football practice. Everyone else was in class but I have a free period so I went to the music class.

The music class is always empty when I have few periods and sometimes I like to play the guitar when I have free period. It's always usually empty but today there was this girl there she was doing something on her laptop. I sat down at the back and started doing some of my assignments.

The girl looked back and saw me, she quickly stood and came to me. Dear lord I hope she's not one of the school wannabes, trying to befriend me just so they could have a social status.

"Hey! You're Sofia right?" She asks smiling.

"Yeah." I answer her returning her smile. I have never seen her before she most be a junior or new. "Sorry I don't think we've met before." I added.

"Yeah we haven't met but everyone in this school knows you, by the way I'm Irina," she says smiling.

"Nice to meet you, so are you new in this school." I ask her.

"Yeah and it's awful being the new girl, I miss my friends from my former school and I have no friends here." She explains.

"I'm sorry it must be hard leaving your friends and changing schools and consider me your first friend then," I said smiling.

"Really?" she asked excitedly, you want me to be your friend?"

"Yeah sure" I answered her smiling.

"You are really nice and very pretty she says smiling." She says.

"Thanks, you're are also pretty" I say smiling at her. "So why aren't you in class." I asked.

"I have free period and I'm waiting for my brother to finish with his football practice."

"I also have free period and I'm waiting for my boyfriend to finish with football practice too."

She was telling me about her first week when Noah barged into the music class. What does he want now, is he stalking me or something.

"Irina what are you doing here, I have been looking for you all over the school and why is your phone off." Noah asked her in a serious tone. Oh he's not here to see me.

"Sorry, I came to work on some homework here and my phone battery was low." Irina says while smiling at Noah.

He then looked at me and quickly asks, "what are you doing with my sister?"

Oh so Irina is his sister I thought silently to myself, I can see some resemblance they have thesame eyes.

"Are you trying to be a bad influence on her? I mean how do you two even know each other." Noah quickly added with a harsh voice.

"Oh my God! Noah seriously what's wrong with you, you can't just come in here and start telling my friend she's a bad influence on me." Irina says while looking at her brother frustratedly.

"Oh your friend," he says sarcastically.

"How did you two become friends? I thought the most popular girl in school doesn't become friends with just anyone,"he says looking at me.

I felt my eyes welling up, as I stood up and said "Why do you have a problem with me. What did I ever do to you for you to be such an ass towards me." I said in a shaky voice swallowing back tears he would not see me cry.

"I'm so sorry Sofia." Irina said. "My brother is such an idiot. Noah I swear to God dad is going to hear about this you can't just insult my friend and get away with it." Irina says in a shaky voice too.

I quickly carried my bag and left the music class. Noah was staring at me intensely and Irina was telling me she's so sorry for Noah's behavior.

Zack had already texted me saying he was outside. He was outside waiting for me by his car. Noah and Irina were walking behind me, I could hear them both arguing but I refused to turn back and look at Noah after the way he just acted towards me.

I walked to Zack's car. Zack noticed I was in a bad mood and asked. "What's wrong baby?? Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, I'm just kind of tired." I said with a fake smile as I put my hands around his neck and kissed him.

"Hmm baby," he moaned as he kissed me back.

We finally broke the kiss. Noah's car was parked right next to Zack's. Noah was glaring daggers at me and Zack with a scowl on his face as he and his sister Irina entered his car and drove away.

Zack and I entered the car and drove to my place. We went up to my room, we made out did some messing around and cuddled for few minutes before he finally went home.

Zack's a really good guy or at least he's always good with me though my friends always tell me he's an asshole. But the Zack I know is very sweet and nice towards me. He was my first real boyfriend, I like my relationship with him, it's nothing so serious. We just make out alot and hang out all the time, I mean we are really good friends we were friends before we started dating.

After Zack left, I took a shower and took a nap. I woke up late in the evening . I checked my phone, I had 2 missed calls from Zack, and some texts from my friends asking I could join them in this diner downtown we hang out at. I texted Paula back asking her to pick me up. I changed into some jeans shorts and a tank top and went downstairs to wait for her.

"Hey daddy," I said to my dad as I gave him a kiss on his cheek.

"Hello mi amor, are you going somewhere?" he asked. "You look all dressed up."

"Yeah me and Paula are going to diner downtown with Jasmine and Michael, she's coming over to pick me."

"Sofi honey, you know I don't like you going out alone in the evening. I'll just ask the driver to take you."

"No daddy I'm going to be fine, beside I'm not going alone Paula will be with me. You worry to much about me daddy."

"Mi amor of course I worry about you, you are my only daughter and I don't like it when you go out alone that's the main reason I'm waiting till you're 18 to allow you to start driving yourself around."

My phone beeped Paula was outside already.

"Daddy you have nothing to worry about okay! I'll be fine." I said as I gave him a kiss on the cheek and went out the door, I could hear him saying okay honey but don't be back late.

Paula was driving, Michael was sitting beside her so I sat at the back. "Jasmine will meet us there and Zack and Jake are already there," Michael says as Paula drove off.

The drive to the diner was long from my house. Paula parked and we all went inside.

"Hey babe." Zack says giving me a kiss.

"Hey." I answered returning his kiss and sitting down beside him. It was after I sat down that I noticed Noah was also there. Seriously why was he there, I just don't understand why Zack would invite him.

"Hey guys," Noah says to us but most especially he was staring at me.

"Hey Noah." Michael answered him. Paula was busy kissing her boyfriend Jake, so she ignored him.

I also ignored him, which made Zack look at me confused. We haven't talked about Noah, but he can sense that I kind of don't like him.

Zack called the waiter, which was my friend Matty kilbourne or at least he used to be one of my friends until he kissed me and told me he loved me and I didn't say it back. His parents own the diner and he sometimes work there.

"What's up Waiter boy, we want some fries, burgers and sodas," Zack says to Matty with a mischievous grin on his face. Zack doesn't like Matty, well it's probably because Matty used to like me so he always finds reason to insult him but Matty never says anything back.

Matty had an angry look on his face but he didn't say anything he just wrote down the orders.

"Zack come on do you really have to talk to him like that," I say to Zack immediately after Matty left with our orders with an angry look on my face. Everyone on the table was staring at me and Zack.

"Sorry babe but the asshole is always staring at my girl, he just always finds a way to get under my skin."

"Zack I'm serious about this I don't feel comfortable when you do that."

"Okay! Sorry," he says giving me a kiss.

"So what his story," I heard Noah ask Michael.

"It's a long story but Matty had a thing for Sofi but the feelings weren't mutual and it ended pretty badly."

"Michael!!" I called his name eyeing him and making him know I didn't want Noah to know about my history with Matty.

"Geez Michael zip it, like seriously dude you're like always gossiping or telling stories." Paula says to Michael.

"Oh my God, if it isn't the drama queen telling me I like gossiping. I mean he asked me what's their story, it's not like I just started telling him."

"You know what dude we should really get you a boyfriend, because you're getting a little chatty." Jake says as we all laugh at Michael.

"Fuck you guys," Michael says with a smile too.

Our food arrived and we started eating. "So do you have a girlfriend," Paula asks Noah.

"No we broke up before we moved to LA."He answered.

"That's sad, did you break up because of you were moving??"

"No because of some other reason but moving is also a part of it."

"Well I'm glad you're are single. Jasmine, Sofia and I are great with match making. We will get you a new girlfriend."

I looked at her at the mention of my name

"Paula I don't think that's a good idea. You can fix him up with something by yourself and Jasmine can help too."

"What? Why? You love match making Sofi, beside its going to be fun."

"Paula I'm not really sure about that, by the way me and Zack would be spending a lot of time together and I'm also busy with my blog and some other things."

"Babe don't worry about me, fixing him up with someone will just take a day at most. And then we can spend more time with each other."

"You see Zack doesn't mind, please say yes Sofi"

"Match making it is then." I said forcing a smile. Noah could clearly see I didn't want anything to do with fixing him up with someone. I just didn't know why but I hated the image of him with another girl.
