88: Have to find her

For a moment, I was transfixed to a spot, in utter shock from the turnout of my confession.

Ashley had never bolted away from me that way after an argument, in fact, we’d never left without hashing out an issue and ending up in each other’s arms afterward.

But now, we’d suffered the first major rift between us and I couldn’t help but direct all my anger at Scarlett. She was the reason for all these bullshit and my hatred for her had intensified by a thousand folds as I realized it.

Unfortunately, I didn’t have the time to track her and make her suffer because I needed to go after Ashley.

In a matter of seconds I was storming out of the main door and I felt a dreadful chill grip me when I noticed that Ashley’s car was no longer in the space where she’d parked. I’d assumed that she would just find some place downstairs to blow off steam, but she was so enraged that she’d driven off.
