Lunch was over soon and mom had to leave for a meeting with other alpha’s wives, as soon as she left, I felt like I could breathe freely and I didn’t feel forced to interact with Micheal.

In fact, I’d willingly gotten him to walk me to the patio because I needed to get away from Alex and his torturous tricks. We’d eventually taken our seats and he started to tell me about the most horrible date he’d ever been on.

Micheal was trying his hardest not to laugh at his predicament but the more I laughed, the harder it was for him. I didn’t need anyone to tell me that I had a contagious laughter, his struggle was proof.
