Chapter 95

"Oh My Gosh, Arka!!! You scared me!"

Just opening the door of the house, about to go to the office, suddenly Arka's father was surprised by the existence of Arka who was sleeping in front of his house.

Because the sound of her father's shout was quite loud, it finally managed to wake Arka up from his sleep. While rubbing his eyes which were still very sleepy, Arka got up.

"Dad. Sorry to startle you."

"What are you doing here? Why are you sleeping here? Come in!"

In the end Arka's father abandoned his intention to go to the office at that time, the middle-aged man invited his son into the house.

It turned out that not only his father was surprised to see his arrival, his mother who was cleaning up after breakfast also looked surprised to see his arrival.

"Arka, are you coming? You don't usually come this early in the morning."

"Earlier I saw him sleeping in front of the door like a tramp."

"Really? What's wrong with you? Why didn't you knock on the door?"

"Sorry mom and dad, I got here too early. I just finished discussing work with one of my friends, who happens to be nearby. Because I was very tired and didn't want to disturb mom and dad's rest time, I ended up sleeping outside," explained Arka, who of course lied.

You can see how shocked and panicked Arka's mother was when she heard her son's explanation. It was so cold outside, what if Arka got sick from the cold? Moreover, the man did not wear a jacket at all.

"Oh my God,  you must be cold, sit down so I can make you a warm drink."

"No need mom. I'm still sleepy, just want to continue sleeping. Can I sleep here for a while? I'm afraid there will be something on the way if I go straight home still sleepy."

Without thinking, Arka's parents immediately allowed their son to stay there. After all, the house was also Arka's house, whenever Arka wanted to come, the door would always be open for him.

In the end, Arka returned to his room which he had not lived in for a very long time. The room looked the same as before she left it.

Roughly the man immediately lay his body down on his soft mattress. Just about to close his eyes, he suddenly remembered Mauren's cries earlier. The recollection made him unable to sleep and he immediately got up.

Arka rubbed his face roughly. He had never done anything to Mauren at all. He really didn't do anything, even if he was asked to swear he was willing.

Arka himself was also confused as to why he suddenly woke up half naked. The man didn't remember anything. He thought he wanted to help Mauren but suddenly felt a blow on his back, after that he didn't remember anything.

The reason why Arka didn't go straight home but chose to stop by his parents' house was because the man was still very shocked by what had just happened to him. He wasn't ready to go home and meet Naya. What if Naya found out about what had happened to him?

"Why is it like this. I only intended to help Mauren. I really remember my only purpose in going there was to help Mauren. But why did all this happen to me?"

"Did I really do it? No! I couldn't have done this! I couldn't have betrayed Naya."

Because he was too dizzy to think about the problems he was currently facing, Arka chose to force herself to sleep. Even though sleeping doesn't make the problem go away, at least sleeping can make his forget about his problems even if it's only for a few moments.

"How is it, have you heard from Arka?"

It was getting late in the afternoon. Since last night, there had been no word from Arka. He hadn't come home until now. That of course made Naya even more anxious and worried about him.

All day Juna and Yuna decided to accompany Naya at her house in turn. Juna had also tried to ask some people who knew Arka, in case one of them saw or knew Arka's whereabouts. But the result was nil, no one saw her.

Until not long after, Naya's cell phone rang. Hearing her cell phone ring made Naya immediately see who was calling her. She honestly hoped it was Arka.

"Who?"

"Arka's mom," Naya replied. It wasn't Arka who was calling her but Arka's mother.

Without waiting long, Naya finally picked up the call.

"Yes mom, what's wrong?"

"Naya, I'm sorry I called you suddenly."

"It's okay mom. What's wrong?"

"I just wanted to let you know that Arka is at my house."

Hearing her mother-in-law's words made Naya both surprised and happy. 

"Arka's at your house? Mom, can you please give me his cell phone? I want to talk to him."

"He’s still bathing. Yes, this morning his father suddenly found his sleeping in front of the door. He said he was tired after discussing work with one of his friends. He said the location where he met with his friend was close to mom's house, so he stopped by here to rest. Has he not informed you at all since last night?"

"Not yet mom. That's why I was so happy when you said she was there. I was really worried about him."

"That child!!! Well, after taking a shower, I'll send him straight home."

"Thank you mom."

After chatting for a while, Naya's phone call with her mother-in-law finally ended. Juna and Yuna who heard Naya mention Arka's name were immediately curious.

"Why?"

"Arka is at his parents' house. Mom said he'll be home after this."

Hearing that Juna and Yuna immediately smiled with relief. Finally after a day of no news, Arka will come home too.

But somehow Naya felt that something had happened. Arka didn't usually come home like this, especially without telling her and staying overnight.

"Did you just tell Naya that I'm here?"

Arka's mother, who had just finished calling Naya, was startled when Arka was suddenly behind her.

"You surprised me. Yes, I just told her that you're here. Naya said you haven't heard from her since last night, are you crazy? You little brat! Don't you know how anxious your wife is looking for you?"

"My phone is dead, mom."

"Ish this kid. Finish your drink quickly, mom made you a warm drink so you don't get sick from sleeping outside this morning. After this go home, your wife and son are worried about you."

"Can't I stay here again, mom?"

Hearing Arka's question just now made her mother surprised. Why did her son suddenly want to stay over again? Is it possible that he's fighting with his wife? Arka's mother thought.

"Why, did you fight with Naya?"

"No, I didn't. I just feel a little tired."

"If you're tired, take a taxi home. Or I'll call your father's driver to take you home. You should go home, Naya is worried about you."
