Chapter 107

"You went to Mauren's house? So you lied to me? You said you were going shopping but it turns out you went to Mauren's house?"

Arka was shocked when Naya suddenly confessed that she had just gone to Mauren's house. It turned out that she lied, saying she was going shopping for cooking needs but in reality went to Mauren's house.

Knowing this certainly made Arka surprised and angry. How could he not, his wife had lied to him, had made him anxious, let alone come home with a drenched body while crying.

"What are you going there for? Didn't you find out for yourself at that time if she wasn't at her house? She left, ran away after making up the fake news!"

"No, I met her. I even chatted with her for a while."

Again, Arka was surprised by his wife's words. Was she not lying again? She met and even chatted with Mauren? How could that be? Arka had gone there several times but not once had he met him.

"I just want to hear directly from her mouth about the truth that happened. He admitted everything, admitted that he had been victimized by you."

A long sigh escaped Arka's mouth. The man couldn't imagine what Mauren had told Naya. Arka knew Mauren must have said bad things about her to Naya to make her go home in tears.

"What did he say to you? Did he say bad things about me? And you believed him? Didn't you tell me yourself that you believed me? You gave me a chance to find proof of my innocence, so why did you go to Mauren? That's the same as not believing me, Nay."

Arka was honestly quite disappointed with Naya. He thought she would have believed him if he was innocent. But it turned out that her assumption was wrong. Naya still couldn't believe it. She was even looking for the truth without telling him.

"I want to believe you too. I also hope none of this is true. I'm tired of being talked about by people. I just want this problem to end quickly. Arka, I can't be selfish. You're my husband but if you're guilty, I want you to take responsibility for your actions."

"What do I have to answer for? I'm innocent, Nay. I was just set up!"

"I've asked Mauren for a post mortem and he's willing. Tomorrow we go to the hospital, we do a post-mortem. If the post-mortem confirms your guilt, then I want you to take responsibility. But if it turns out Mauren lied, I'll take him to the police myself."

Naya had thought this through. She couldn't just stand by and wait for Arka to find evidence of the man's innocence. Although she wasn't entirely sure, Naya wanted Mauren to have a post mortem to find out the truth. Naya was ready for all the results. If her husband was guilty then she would not stand in the way of the legal process, but if it turned out that Mauren was lying then she would drag the woman to jail herself.

The next day Naya, Arka and Juna went to the hospital together. Mauren was already there, and today they were going to supervise the post mortem that Mauren was going to have.

Not only that, there will also be the police supervising the post mortem. Later the results will be given directly to the police to ensure there is no suspicion in the results.

Once at the hospital, Arka saw Mauren already sitting quietly on one of the seats in the waiting room. The woman sat accompanied by the police, besides that there was also a woman who named her, whoever Arka did not know.

Because it was difficult to find Mauren after this case, once he saw Mauren, of course Arka's emotions immediately rose. Without thinking, the man immediately walked quickly to her. Seeing this, Naya and Juna immediately followed him.

"Damn woman! A savage woman!" As if reluctant to look at gender, Arka approached Mauren. He grabbed her hand and pushed her hard.

Seeing this, the police immediately grabbed Mauren's hand, saving her from Arka's actions. Likewise with Juna. The man immediately restrained Arka who already wanted to attack Mauren.

This is the reason why Juna also went to the hospital. Naya was afraid that her husband would get angry seeing Mauren, so she invited Juna to come along so that he could help her keep an eye on Arka.

"You savage! You ignorant woman! I helped you, why did you set me up!"

"Arka calm down, this is a hospital!" Juna snapped.

"Mr. Arka please stay calm. If you attack Miss Mauren, it could incriminate you in court," said one of the police officers.

Since Arka's emotions could no longer be contained, Naya asked Juna for help to take the man away. Out of Mauren's reach.

You can see Mauren's condition now. The woman's body was trembling, her tears falling heavily. She was really afraid of Arka.

"Mauren calm down, you're safe," Mauren's friend whispered, trying to calm her down.

After her condition started to improve, it was time for Mauren to have a post-mortem examination. The post-mortem process itself took almost 4 hours.

During the process, there were only policemen guarding outside while Naya decided to take Arka home.

The results themselves took a while. At least 2 weeks at the most. While waiting for the post-mortem results to come out, Arka was asked to collect evidence if indeed the man felt innocent. Once the results come out, if Arka is proven guilty and fails to gather evidence proving her innocence, then inevitably the man must be imprisoned.

"The police have informed me, they said Mauren has finished the post-mortem examination. You can expect the results in the next two weeks."

Juna was currently at Naya's house. She had just received a phone call from the police informing her that Mauren had undergone a post mortem. She immediately went to Arka and Naya's house to tell them the news.

"Two weeks? What took you so long!"

"I don't know. But during the waiting time, you are also asked to look for evidence if you feel innocent. Arka, if within that time or until the post-mortem results come out you don't have proof, and if the post-mortem results prove you're guilty then you'll be in jail right away."

Naya's body instantly went limp. It would be a lie if she wasn't afraid of the results. In fact, Naya was very afraid, she was afraid that the post mortem would show that her husband was guilty. Naya couldn't imagine if all her fears came to pass. 

"I'll help you find evidence," Juna said later.

While Naya was afraid that the post mortem would show that her husband was guilty, Mauren was thinking the opposite. Mauren and her friend were afraid of the post mortem results because in reality Arka had never done anything to her.

"Mauren, what if Arka finds out you lied to him? You saw how she almost attacked you earlier, right? If the post mortem comes out and you're caught lying then not only will Arka be angry, you could also be dragged to jail."

"You shouldn't have said yes when you were asked to do the post mortem."

Mauren could only remain silent. She was really scared now. What if all that happened? She didn't want to be in jail.

"All this is because of Zack! That man is such a savage! He just disappeared after making this mess!" Mauren's friend growled.

Even though Mauren was guilty, Mauren's friend was still angry at Zack. After all, this problem started with Zack's order. If Zack hadn't forced Mauren to lie, there wouldn't have been this problem.

"I will meet him. He has to take responsibility for creating such a big problem."

"It's useless, I've contacted him and he doesn't want to know," Mauren lamented.
