Chapter 106

Naya had been monitoring Mauren's house alone for almost an hour. She was desperate to come to Mauren's house alone to meet him. Naya was eager to meet with Mauren to solve the problem that was currently happening.

Honestly, Naya felt very sorry for how Arka kept getting blamed by his father. Naya really wanted to help her husband solve his problem. But even so Naya would not be selfish, if for example her husband was indeed guilty then she would still let him take responsibility for his mistakes.

In the middle of waiting for Mauren, Naya suddenly got a call from Arka. She didn't want to answer Arka's call, not without reason, she was just afraid that Arka would find out that she was currently at Mauren's house. Naya was afraid that Arka would catch up with her because the purpose of Naya coming to see Mauren secretly was to have a heart-to-heart talk among women.

Because Arka kept calling her, Naya was finally forced to pick up the call. You can hear how Arka immediately asked her where she was when she had just answered her husband's call.

"Where are you? Why aren't you home?"

"I'm going away for a while."

"Going where? Why didn't you tell me anything?"

Naya was silent for a while. She seemed at a loss to answer her husband's question. She didn't want to tell him her true whereabouts.

"Naya."

"I was out shopping for groceries. I just arrived, when I'm done I'll go straight home."

"Where? I'm going there, right?"

"No! That's not necessary. You just rest, you must be tired all night at the hospital. I won't be home for long."

After successfully persuading Arka not to follow her, Naya quickly ended the conversation with the excuse that she wanted to go shopping and then go home.

A sigh of relief escaped Naya's mouth. She was relieved that Arka believed her.

Not long after ending her conversation with Arka, Naya saw a woman in a completely covered outfit coming out of one of the houses located right next to Mauren's house. The woman walked while looking around, as if she was making sure no one saw her.

"Who is that woman? Why did she enter Mauren's house? Is she not Mauren?"

Seeing that the woman had just entered Mauren's house, Naya immediately got out of her car and walked towards Mauren's house. She politely knocked on Mauren's door but she knocked for a long time and there was no response at all.

Naya didn't give up, she actually saw a woman who had just entered Mauren's house, so she knew there was someone inside. 

Again, Naya tried knocking again. After a while, the door opened. Naya was surprised to see Mauren opening the door for her.

"Mauren, wait a minute!" Naya exclaimed as Mauren was about to close the door again knowing that the person who came to her house was Naya.

Mauren was afraid that Naya would come with Arka, that's why she wanted to close the door again.

"Please Mauren, I want to talk to you. I came here alone without Arka knowing."

"Lies!"

"I swear!"

Hearing Naya's words just now, Mauren, who had been determined to close the door again, immediately abandoned her intention. Once persuaded, the woman finally let Naya into her house before closing the door and locking it again, afraid that Arka would suddenly arrive.

Naya was now sitting opposite Mauren. For a long time both of them were silent. Mauren was silent and anxious, afraid that Arka would suddenly come because honestly he didn't dare to meet the man again. Meanwhile, Naya was silent thinking about how she should start the conversation with Mauren.

After a long period of silence, Naya finally found the courage to speak up. 

"You must have been surprised to see me come to your house. I'm sorry if my arrival has taken you by surprise, but you can rest easy, I came here completely alone. Arka doesn't know I'm here."

Mauren remained silent, not responding to Naya's words. She didn't even know what to say. Mauren was just curious why Naya had suddenly come to his house.

"Mauren, I want to ask you a question. I also expect you to answer my question honestly. Did my husband really do that to you?"

"I'm sorry if my question might make you feel traumatized again, I just want to hear from your own mouth the truth if indeed my husband did it. I also won't defend my husband if he is guilty. I will ask him to take responsibility if he is guilty."

Without saying a word Mauren nodded. Agreeing to all of Naya's questions. Seeing that, Naya's body shook. She tried not to cry in front of Mauren.

"Are you sure? Mauren, I hope you're honest. Don't hide anything."

"What do you want me to answer? Do you want me to say that I lied? Why would I lie?" Mauren finally dared to speak up.

With a gaze full of sadness, Mauren looked at Naya. "We are women. You should know how I feel. What do you think I will gain if I lie? Your husband, that depraved man has ruined my life!"

"Hiks, he ruined everything!"

Enough, the tears that Naya had been trying to hold back finally fell. It wasn't just Naya's tears, Mauren's too.

"If what you say is true, I want to prove it. I want you to do a post mortem."

You can see Mauren's shocked reaction when he heard Naya ask her to do a post mortem. Without thinking, Mauren immediately refused to do a post mortem.

"Why don't you want to, are you afraid? Mauren, if you feel right why don't you want a post mortem? I just want to make sure all your accusations against my husband are true. You take it easy, if the results of the post mortem prove that you are right, then I will personally hold my husband responsible for everything he has done to you."

Elsewhere Arka was seen pacing back and forth in front of the house. He was anxiously waiting for Naya who had not returned home.

It was already night time. It had been more than three hours since Naya had gone shopping but she hadn't returned until now. Naya usually never took this long when she went shopping, which made Arka anxious.

Several times Arka tried to contact his wife, but none of his calls were answered. This of course made him even more anxious.

Until when he was busy thinking about his wife, suddenly the man saw heavy rain suddenly falling. That certainly made him even more anxious waiting for his wife's return.

"Naya, where are you? Why didn't you answer my call? I should have caught up with her earlier!"

Afraid that something would happen to his wife, Arka decided to go after Naya to the place where she usually went shopping. He quickly grabbed his car keys. As he was about to leave, he suddenly saw his wife's car coming. Knowing this, he immediately approached her.

"Oh my God Naya! Where have you been? Why are you just getting home at this hour?"

You can see how anxious Arka was to see his wife come home soaking wet. Gosh what had happened to that woman? Didn't she leave by car, why is her body this wet?

"Naya, what's wrong with you?" Arka asked again when he saw Naya suddenly crying for no apparent reason.

Seeing his wife sobbing even more, he immediately pulled her into his arms. Very gently he rubbed the back of his wife who was still crying.

After meeting and talking with Mauren, Naya didn't go straight home. She went somewhere to calm herself down and vent all her anger over what she had just learned directly from Mauren's mouth. That was the reason why she came home in the evening when she had gone to see Mauren in the afternoon.
