Chapter Seventeen

I narrowed my eyes.“What do you want to hear?”

“Anything princess. But I would prefer to hear you say the 'yes’ word.

I snorted and turned my head to look at him fully.“I won't accept so just leave me the hell alone.” initially I meant to say the words nicely but it came out a little bit harsh.

“I so wished to do as you want princess but I'm afraid that will be hard to do." I didn't miss the signature smile on his face.

“Then I'll so do you the honour of leaving you first." I was on my feet and out of the building before he could stop me. The chill evening air greeted me the moment I stepped out making me shivered a little.

I looked ahead of me, the only path to my house looks so deserted and quiet. Only someone with half a brain will venture that lane by this time, much less a lady.

I pictured the many things that could happen if I decide to go on that path, I shook my head almost immediately. I'm taking a cab even though I've not got much cash left on me. Speaking of which, where's
