Chapter Seventy-Seven

I walked gently down the stairs trying as much as I could to stifle in a smile. But it didn't work though, as a bright smile cover the whole of my face.

I could tell from the way he shivered when I came out dressed in that gown that he was beginning to like me.

Try as he might behave rudely to me always, he can't change the truth.

Truth that could be very dangerous to you.

"Ahh. Get a hold of yourself Kacie."

His warning that night was scaring, particularly his face.

"You must never fall in love with me, Kacie. The day you do, would be your end.” his warning kept ringing in my head and clearly it wasn't something ordinary that I could toy with.

I continued walking slowly when the pain came again same way it did when I was at the pool. Except this one grip was tight caging me into the vast ocean of pain.

I held on very tight to my stomach, my vision was already hazy at this point

"Please... " I almost shouted when I felt an excruciating pain tear from my abdomen to my chest.
