Chapter Sixteen

I'd rather have a deal with the devil himself than date someone again. I thought to myself as I chugged down my fourth glass of whiskey sour.

Only three days ago was I proud to have a caring and sweet loving man as my boyfriend. Who would have thought I was just being used.

I hissed in annoyance and beckoned to the bartender.“Another glass please.”

“You don't look so okay.” she muttered as she stretched out a filled up glass my way.“Someone messed with your heart?”

“Well...” I exhaled sharply.“You can say that.”

She shook her head and shoot me a sympathetic look which I find rather annoying.“Men are like that. You can never trust them fully.”

I nodded rather quickly. They are never to be trusted.“They will pretend to love you for a year if you're not so lucky two to three years but all that is just to get free access to your pants continuously.”
