“So, what about your job there in LA? Have you resigned?” Asked Nikolas, as he waited for her to finish her dinner.

Seeing him after a whole day, Brooklyn forgot all her grudges and soaked in the warmth of his bare chest. “Nikolas,” she breathed, her heart pounding inside her ribcage as a strange sense of satisfaction engulfed her heart and she pressed herself closer to him. Nikolas tightened his hold upon her while she kissed the warm skin on his neck. A shudder went down his body and he groaned with a need so intense that he lost all semblance of self-control. He picked her up in his arms, his movements swift, agile and powerful. Brooklyn was too dazed to react.
