Nikolas frowned upon hearing her outburst. “I have no idea who you’re talking about. If you want to sleep with me, tell me so. I’ll gladly oblige,” he said, his face softening a little.

Seeing him after a whole day, Brooklyn forgot all her grudges and soaked in the warmth of his bare chest. “Nikolas,” she breathed, her heart pounding inside her ribcage as a strange sense of satisfaction engulfed her heart and she pressed herself closer to him.
