Chapter 67

Lillian's POV

I once dreamt of walking down the aisle while holding my father's arm.

I once dreamt of wearing a beautiful white gown as I walked on the red carpet with scattered petals of white roses.

I used to dream of a wedding like what I saw in my favourite fairytales and I always find myself smiling as I imagine myself being the bride who walks towards her prince charming.

I always thought that wedding means happily ever after.

I thought I will be the happiest when that day comes but I was wrong because while walking down the aisle with white petals scattered on the floor and holding my father's arm tightly the happiness that I thought I will feel can't be found. I am filled with fear and pain rather than excitement and love.

I am filled with agony and misery and the tears that fell from my eyes didn't come from joy but from sadness.

When we reached the altar Dad gave my hand to Alexander.

They smiled and they looked happy while I am in deep misery.
