Lillian's POV

"What happened to you, Lillian?" I asked myself as I stared at my reflection.

A bitter smile grace on my lips as I saw the bruises on my body being visible.

This is far from the life that I have imagined. I always thought that I will be having a peaceful and happy life.

I dream of living in a small house with my loving husband and adorable kids. I imagined waking up with a smile on my face because the first thing that I will see is my husband lying beside me then my kids will greet me good morning and we will eat breakfast together filled with laughter.

I thought I will be spending my afternoon drinking coffee in our small garden while painting the fully bloomed flowers.

I thought I will end my day in my husband's arms who will give me warmth during cold nights but none of those things happen.
