Sasha's POV

My heart was racing as I rushed to Valentino, gently patting his cheek. “Valentino, what’s wrong? You can’t just die on me!”

I quickly checked for his breath and felt a wave of relief and tears when I realized he was still breathing.

“You’re still alive?” I said, feeling frantic as I searched for my phone.

“Idiot, I’m not dead,” Valentino said weakly. He sounded both annoyed and amused. He was young; he shouldn’t just drop dead like this.

“You’re awake?” I asked, panicking even more. “What’s happening to you?”

His forehead was covered in cold sweat, and his face was twisted in pain. He looked really miserable.

“My stomach hurts,” Valentino said.

“Your stomach?” I asked, feeling a pang of guilt. “Could it be because of the food we had?”

“I don’t know,” he said, shaking his head in pain. He looked so bad he could barely speak.

“Should I call 911?” I asked, feeling increasingly distressed seeing him like this.

“Just call Dr. Rob,” Valentino said.
