“I’m sorry. I didn’t realize your stomach was so sensitive. I didn’t mean for you to suffer like this,” I said, looking at Valentino, who had always been so strong, now lying in bed looking pitiful.

“Yes, it’s because you made me eat those things that I’m feeling this way,” Valentino said with a sad face.

I felt a lump in my throat. Hearing him complain like that made me feel even worse.

“I’ll take care of you until you’re better,” I said.

“Don’t worry. I’ll keep massaging you to help you feel better. Dr. Rob said it’s not too serious and you’ll get better soon.”
