As I face forward after posing for the cameras, I hold my breath when I spot Nathan and Miranda. While she glares right at me, he scowls, his eyes darting between me and Louis.

If anyone would be invited to such an event, it would be Nathan because of the influence that he holds, but the last thing I expected was to run into him here. And the sight of both of them together infuriates me.

It seems that Louis hasn't even noticed yet as he's still looking at the cameras, so I lean over and speak to him.

"Nathan's here with Miranda."

"What?" He seems a little surprised, then clears his throat. He looks ahead, spots the two of them, then looks back at me with a smirk. "It looks like they can't stop staring and you know what? Let's give them something to stare at."

And with that, he kisses my cheek, then grabs me by the waist so I can face him for another kiss on the lips. It seems the photographers all want to have that on their cameras.
