Ever since I saw Layla again, despite the wall she had desperately tried to put up, I knew that she would eventually pour out her feelings to me. What I didn't know was just how much it would hurt standing before her and hearing her speak.

It's been a few hours now since I was in the elevator with her and I can still feel the sting of her slaps and the pain in her voice. She was right about everything.
