Ever since I saw Layla again, despite the wall she had desperately tried to put up, I knew that she would eventually pour out her feelings to me. What I didn't know was just how much it would hurt standing before her and hearing her speak.

It's been a few hours now since I was in the elevator with her and I can still feel the sting of her slaps and the pain in her voice. She was right about everything. How could I stand there and tell her that Louis isn't good for her when I wasn't any better? I broke her heart, only to start giving her advice.

Though it all leaves me feeling disappointed in myself, I meant what I said. I wouldn't mind if it was someone who isn't that bastard. He really isn't good for her. While I'm not any better, he's the worst thing that could happen to her.
